Our home care services are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid at the moment. However, we do accept various forms of Long-Term Care Insurance assignments, VA Benefits, and private pay. We will work with you to ensure that your long-term care insurance covers as much of what you need for yourself or your loved one as possible. This type of insurance usually covers home care in Florida, but not in every case.
LTC coverage (Long-Term Care coverage) helps you afford different types of care provided in the home that Medicare and Medicaid do not cover, including most in-home care, adult daycare centers, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, personal daily care services, skilled nursing care, and rehabilitation therapy centers.
Medicare can offer limited home care coverage and pay for some services that can be performed by a home health aide only when the recipient is also receiving skilled care, such as nursing care or therapy. Veterans can qualify for long-term care through the VA, including help with daily tasks.
