Full-Time Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating all marketing and communication initiatives in alignment with the strategic vision of the organization. Activities include managing marketing campaigns either by mail, print, digital, email and online, SEO optimization, Social Media outreach, and any other activities that achieve brand recognition, market penetration and effective promotion of all organization’s service lines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages agency marketing and communications plans and budgets including cost-effective and efficient use of employed and contracted services.
  • Ensures seamless brand integration and distinction across all services and organization-wide internal and external communications.
  • Manages brand strategy, including refining and tracking brand success metrics.
  • Creates or oversees creation of copy and creative to drive messaging for all communications including print advertisement, digital advertisement, press releases, speeches and any other collateral marketing.
  • Manages organization’s web site(s) and social media platforms working with management and third parties ensuring messaging, accuracy, relevance and currency allow organization to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Conducts continuous market research to determine most effective strategies to market organization’s services and adjusts marketing plans as required.
  • Performs RFPs and participates in vendor selection regularly to ensure third party vendor agreements and services remain competitive and organization achieves best ROI.
  • In conjunction with supervisor prepares and manages the annual budget for the department.
  • Prepares monthly board reports and any other reports as requested.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures for the marketing department.
  • Participates in outreach efforts, community events, donor cultivation, health fairs and other events to promote the organization and ensure branding consolidation.
  • Supports sales team by providing marketing support to ensure services are promoted effectively.
  • Performs marketing analytics, develops key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluates marketing efforts effectiveness and reports results to management on a regular basis.
  • Acts as organization’s spokesperson to the external community in both promotion of agency and in crisis communications as needed.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external partners, vendors, media sources, other organizations and the community at large to ensure adequate organization’s representation.

Education

Bachelors in Marketing or related field required. Master’s degree in related field preferred.

Experience

Minimum of three (3) years managing marketing activities for similar organizations are required. Experience developing marketing campaigns for healthcare and/or nonprofit organizations is highly recommended. Experience developing and launching multidimensional marketing campaigns is required. Experience with new marketing approaches, SEO optimization, Social Media engagement, is recommended.

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, deadline-oriented, organizational skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness are required. Public speaking experience and ability to establish and maintain relationships in an engaging manner. Ability to maintain brand standards while incorporating innovative and creative messaging. Proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to work both individually and collaboratively. Strong project and time management skills. Ability to maintain brand standards while incorporating innovative and creative messaging. Computer knowledge must include advanced Excel and other Microsoft applications, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Creative, email marketing platforms, social media platforms and WordPress. Clean driving record is required.
