Caring for Seniors of
What is overnight care?
overnight caregivers are there to help with your loved one’s evening routine of going to bed each night, bedside assistance, and getting ready for the day in the morning. Small tasks like getting a drink of water, taking medicines, or using the restroom can be overwhelming for the person who is no longer able to live as independently as he or she once did.
By providing additional assistance a few hours before bedtime, during the night, and/or early in the morning, we make sure your loved one can rest comfortably during the twilight hours. We’re there to assist with everything from moving their position in bed to providing companionship for those who may experience discomfort when left alone or disorientation after sleeping.
What is 24-hour Live-In Care?
Your parents or loved ones may need someone with them 24 hours a day. With 24-hour in home care in
Plantation and nearby areas, someone is always available to help with daily living skills such as bathing and personal care, dressing, going to appointments, and assisting with medication reminders. With a spare room in your home, a caregiver can always be there to support your loved one each day and night.
If your loved one is recovering from illness or surgery at home, or if they need continuous assistance, 24-hour live-in care allows them to stay among the familiar surroundings of their home – with dignity and the respect they deserve.
Overnight and 24-Hour Live-in Home Care Basics
Our overnight and 24-hour live-in caregivers tend to your loved ones through the twilight hours and therefore need a place to reside overnight. While their working hours are spent with the patient, caregivers need a spare bedroom or private area for sleeping and storing their belongings.
Everybody is different and each situation is unique, which is why our home care is customized to the needs of your loved one.
Overnight and 24-hour live-in caregivers can attend to non-medical issues, assist with routine tasks, and provide companionship such as watching TV together. In addition, the caregivers can accompany clients to their appointments, by either driving the client’s car or their own vehicle.
Live-in caregivers often do chores and prepare and serve meals for their patients.
Our goal is to help seniors live safely and with dignity in the familiar comfort of their own homes. Enjoying their golden years at home can mean so much to an aging senior.
With overnight home care, you can spend the night in your own home without stressing about the health and safety of your loved one. We aim to help everyone live comfortably in their homes by postponing or even eliminating the need for seniors to move to a residential care or nursing facility.
